sorry! Shot was 202 yards with a savage 220 sluggun, 3” Remington accutips. Buck dropped where he stood. I hunting southern Ontario, Canada. Waiting for official weight back from butcher but estimates and initial measures/weights tips scale 300+. Neck was 36.25”. Main beam length was 25 1/2”.

I set back a shot out 20 inch service rifle 6.5T barrel to 224 Valkyrie for a friend's Dad. Load developed were Berger 82s and 90 VLDs. The Dad preferred the 82s that he shot this Kentucky buck with this past weekend, one shot DRT.

Me and my buddy went this evening. I killed the small buck. 4 minutes in the stand at 4:15 pm and drt. 243 / 65 gr Vmax right behind the eye. My buddy killed the 8 pt. Oh well. Had Fun and didn’t freeze my as$ off.

The Turkey made him smile, I think he wanted a trophy deer for number 1....

My first buck this year, a nice 8 pointer at 147yds Sunday evening. I have been shooting pigs last 3 weekends seeing very few deer until now so this was a nice surprise. I actually saw him on the game camera from last week, honestly didn't think I would see him again. 1 more buck tag left.

I’m mounting this one for in the house but I prefer them out here actually. This one is just too pretty not to mount, the cape is flawless.
I usually kill deer with missing points so this one is rare for me! Lol

I am hoping for one like your bruiser to step in front of my rifle one day to do a shoulder mount, my shop wall is covered with European mounts and I would love to bring one inside.

Back in WY yesterday for deer season with 2 whitetail doe/fawn tags. Season opened at 6:45 AM (legal shooting time), and by 7:45 season was finished for me. These were both shot with Berger VLD-H bullets and these are the exit wounds.

Covered my first 6 tags filled in 2019 with prior posts. Hunted in SD with a West River special buck tag (good for mule deer or white tails) starting on Saturday. Got this one Sunday morning. 7 for 7 this year!!
