Introducing a New long range bullet by Barts Bullets

I'm not familiar with rebated base bullets, what's the advantages? Sorry if it was a dumb question. ::)
No ballistic advantage over the regular non rebated BT. Your rebated BT punches last a little longer than the feather edge non rebated BT punches. I prefer non rebated BT bullets, but that's only my preference.

Theoretically you get longer barrel life with the gases exiting the muzzle at a right angle instead of forward. I do know they put cleaner carbon lines on the crown than flat or non rebated boattails. On a krieger you will have 4 perfect carbon stripes- if your crown was done right

Dusty, how did your new bullets do at vapor trail?

Caleb85,

According to the equipment list there wasn't but 4 people that were using them. As Dusty said a good bit of the Top 20 have bought bullets from us and I've not gotten any negative feedback. In the last two weeks they have won a 1000 yard match, a ground hog match and two 600 yard F Class open matches. So I think they are working.

As for the 600 yard nationals I would have placed fairly high in the Light gun group had I not crossfired on myself. The target that I DQed on, I shot 7 shots into a .2023 the other 3 shots I put on the correct target wouldnt have made the group any bigger. As it was for the 7 targets that were scored gave me a 24xx something agg which I think would have been enough for 4th or 5th. Any way it's all could-of-should have crap. I won a couple of relays and came in 16th in score for the heavy gun.

I'm looking forward to next year! This year I shot a 1000 yard NBRSA Nationals, 600 yard IBS Nationals and a f bench match. All three were different formats. Now I have a better idea what's going on match wise. Now I have the off season to put together a couple of proper long range rifles. Those are fun projects. It's also time to get my kid shooting with me next year. That's going to be fun as well.

I hate the season is coming to an end! I was just getting started!

Has anyone tested the BC on them?

They did down in the ballistics page.

Dusty and I both went to The 1000 yard Nationals. That's the first time I've ever pulled the trigger at a 1000 yards. We didn't do bad for a couple of rookies. I won high score in the heavy gun for a relay and Dusty won small group for his relay.

I don't remember seeing your name at the 1k NBRSA Nationals in Byers this year. If you were there i talked to you and didn't even know it.
