As a note, you see in this thread all of the various methods of cleaning cases. As for me, I can’t remember the last time I “cleaned“ a case, even some of my 30BR cases that have been fired 20+ times.

Are you saying you don't even wipe the lube off the case after sizing? Or just that you don't tumble, etc for the sake of making bras shiny?

Keep in mind, the only place I load is at the range.

When I go to the line, I have a big towel that I lay my rounds on. I just quickly wipe them off.

When I load, I use a nylon brush in the neck, a few swipes. I rake my finger across the sizing wax, smear a thin coat on the case, then size it. I then use the little Sinclair took to clean the primer pocket, seat the primers, charge the case, seat the bullet.

I don’t even own a tumbler.

But do you wipe the wax off before shooting? I wipe them clean with a rag and a little acetone. I've always been a bit paranoid about that, but have never tested to see if it makes a difference.

One item of note. When I do a barrel, I do absolutely nothing to the chamber after reaming. I have found through experience that the finish the reamer leaves is just right for the correct amount of “grip” that the case walls have against the chamber combined with ease of extraction.

Although a polished chamber might look pretty, I believe that polishing chambers is counterproductive to how the case interacts with the chamber at peak pressure.

Exactly what I do after sizing.
Imp Wax is in such a thin coat {why a tin lasts for years/lifetime} that it easily comes off with a slight twist and a paper towel.
About to find out how well it cleans out from the inside of a case neck as I used it while necking up some 6.5PRC cases to 7mm.
Also test driving the Italian product "Delta Turning Lube No Oil" though I have also used Imp wax on some batches to compare performance.

Imperial Die Wax or the South African Ballistic Case Wax are just superior to any other case lube I have ever used and I started out in early days using An-Hydrous Lanolin from a tube applied to a stamp pad...
Just like the oil based ones too much sees hydro formed dents in the case necks, is miserable to clean off and just gets everywhere...

I can see using Imp lube, RCBS lube, etc., on heavy calibre expansion or reduction in the neck, that's logical to me. Applying any wet type lube or wax inside the neck during regular reloading doesn't make sense to me, especially using a Q-tip, too much work. I've used dry neck lube for so long now it is a habit for me, apply Imp wax to body up to shoulder, dip over Forster brush into motor mica, size them, use a paper towel to wipe off Imp wax and reinspect cases after sizing. If I'm feeling super lazy and cases are really heavily stained and the oxidation/carbon won't wipe off, I might tumble them, or if I'm neck turning, I'll use a wet lube for that, applied to the mandrel, and tumble them. Dry lube seems to work fine for trimming and I use it on normal expansion work as well. Maybe an AMP press would possibly change my mind if I was to experiment on it, but, I can buy a few new dies and mandrels or bushings a fair bit cheaper than the press, if they ever get worn from dry lube, haven't found a need to yet. I'm just happy with what I'm using, works for me.

I only put imperial on the body, and dip the necks in powdered graphite. I wipe em with a qtip dipped in alcohol but don't care if there's a little graphite left
