Well in this case we don’t know the seller committed fraud by setting up a second similar email. That is pure assumption at this time. Right now all we know is that the buyer sent money to the seller to the specified email, which was the wrong person. Could have been a typo, could have also been on purpose, no one knows yet. Good thing it was “only” $300 though.

When the CC company investigates the claim they will contact PP and inquire about the ownership of both emails and determine if it was a fraud attempt. If I was the seller and reading this I'd make good on the refund if the fraud claim has any possibility of being true.

Here’s the deal....I send my money, you send the damn product! A little more ass kicking there would be a lot less bs in this world! Oh, I’m a firm believer in capital punishment.....a VERY speedy trial, and public hanging for serious crimes!
it's coming Noahide laws will soon be in effect...and you will not like it

First thing that caught my eye is, this guy has bought and sold a lot of items and only has two feedbacks. That would have raised an alarm for me. The first thing that comes to mind after a sale or purchase is sending a feedback. So why does this guy have so few?????

Reading thru this it has gotten confusing but,,, just thinking...

I agree this looks like a possible scammer but..

Is it possible the original seller is legit ?

Seller posted item for sale,
buyer sent pay pal payment to wrong address,
seller never got payment, why would seller ship item they never got paid for?

OP / 1lessdog won't post the sellers name ( forum code name ) and I'm not going looking for it.

Others have said the seller that never sent the item has been viewing this thread.

If I was the seller and I never got paid I wouldn't ship the item either.

Then again if I were the seller and was involved in this problem I would do all possible to resolve the issue with the buyer and paypal
If i were the seller and I am an honest person that is reading along on this thread i would certainly chime in with my side of the story.

To the Seller,,,,
If you at reading this thread and you are an honest person please speak up here and inform us of your side of the story.

Going on 6 pages of discussion on this topic obviously members here are interested...

Thanks,
George
If you had carefully read the thread, you will see that the seller sent the wrong email address for PayPal. He even admitted that it was his fault and his mistake. The seller is less than honorable in my opinion. The mistake was his and he should send the product.

If I was the seller and made such a mistake, I would feel compelled to send the product. It's $300.00. Not a lot of money to most of us on this site. If that poultry some is worth getting a bad reputation and looking like a chump to over 40,000 gun owners who use this site, this guy is despicable. Not me, the worth of my reputation is immeasurable.

Last week Thursday I agreed to purchase a gun related item on one of the for sale boards. I asked, do you want Postal money order or PayPal. He says PayPal and send me his info. I send him the funds the same day. I hadn't heard from him since last Thursday. So I sent him a PM yesterday and he responds today that he hasn't received any money. I take a screen shot of my PayPal account and send it to him. He missed spelled his email and the money went to someone else. Now I copied and pasted the email just like he sent it to me. I contacted PayPal and being its friends and family and a gun related item they said it out of there hands. It is there policy that firearms and anything related to them can't be bought using PayPal.

He says hes not going to argue with me, said yes it was his mistake ( I have all this in PM 's from him ). He is not out anything I'm out 298.71 and I did nothing wrong and says he is going to keep the product. That it is no longer for sale.

What can a person do??

I hope you have gotten the Forum Boss involved by now.
