I honestly believe the 3 groove cleans up much easier than the canted land rifling, and also doesn't distort the bullet jacket nearly as much. I realize the 5C and 5R type rifling is supposed to offer some type of velocity increase, but, I don't believe it's enough to make a noticeable difference. A good barrel, is a good barrel, whether a certain number of grooves, odd or even, or canted lands. Again, my personal preference is the odd number 3 groove.dtucker said:Could you tell me what the differance or why you would select 1 with 3 grooves or 1 with more grooves in a barrel?
