Have you ordered a Kreiger or Bart lately?Barrels are not bad but I think a kreiger, brux or bartlein barrel is better and pending the time of year the wait can be excessive. I’ve cancelled a barrel because of that. Waited 3 months, only to be told it will be a couple more months. 5-6 months to get a barrel done is a little long
Look at post no.2. Pm me if you have any questions and I'll tell you what I know.Anyone have experience with 22 rimfire barrels. Polygon ? Thanks
Sheet, Krieger is out over 12 months if you order from themBarrels are not bad but I think a kreiger, brux or bartlein barrel is better and pending the time of year the wait can be excessive. I agree. I have ordered from him multiple times. It's great, as long as he has what you want.Yes, everything hit a miss. Chris on this site had both kreiger and bartliens available and shipped fast. Had barrel within week. Just ordered another brux barrel from bugholes which ships in 24-48hrs. All three, rifle cut barrels. Seen other people with barrels for sale on this site quite frequently but Ive only been looking for 6mm.. Check bugholes, they had various brux barrels available in stock. They come and go. Kreiger had quite a few out a few months ago but people buy them up fast, popular size and calibers often gone in less than a week. If you have a local gun smith that does quality work and a 12 pack of beer you just might have a new barrel and chambered within a few weeks, especially if you own your own reamer
I ordered a LV taper for a Kelbly Polar action in order to make 13.5 lb HV class. I had it in about 10 weeks. Years ago, I mean 25 or so, a bunch of us used to order 10 or so barrels from Lilja. They advertised 8 weeks way back then and generally delivered on or about that time frame from date of order.Ps, I never said pacnor was bad. I have plenty of good barrels from them as I live close and just drive to their shop. I just felt the wait was too long for me and went another direction. You just need to be creative and nice and you can make things happen
