Covid...MAYBE. Believe it or not, many still think it's a pandemic. Masks on in vehicles while alone. Walking the dog outside wearing masks. Don't rule out the silliest reason if all.

Parts supply for some things has actually been worse than it was in the prior year.
Gotta believe Tim left quite a bit of stock in his shop since retiring. Been closed since he sold it.
I don't know the details of his exit, but when I closed up my business, I ran stocks down as far as I could get it. When business got slow, I slowed with replenishing stuff on hand.
