So... them hillbillies drinkin shine are protected from the virus ???
Uh, no... not unless they're taking showers in their 'shine.
Looked up effectiveness of sanitizers today. Covid-19 has a coating that Alcohol 70% or over dissolves. Kills the virus. So that case lube should do the trick.
What about the spare in the Hide-a-Key box under the frame?
It's my recipe for case lube and kinda considered it for hand sanitizer as well but instead use aloe vera with the alcohol. Not sure if it makes a difference but that's what I've been using. The lanolin is cheaper and probably easier to find in guessing.I these odd times i wanted to pass along some information.
If anyone is using the the home made case lube (99% alcohol and lanolin)it also makes a fine hand sanitizer and the lanolin keeps the hands soft!
Be safe and God bless/

Kinda like how mosquitos bite everybody but meHealing from the inside!
Careful with the Hardware store stuff read the label if it contains Naphtha stay away from it. Ask me how I know...LOLYep. Isopropyl (rubbing alcohol) or denatured alcohol (available at most hardware stores for about $16/gallon) are quite effective as disinfectants for this stuff. 60%'s enough, 70 or 75% ought to be better.
Add some lanolin or aloe vera gel to keep them from drying out your skin from frequent use.
DON'T SMOKE when your hands are wet with this stuff! Both are flammable.
For surfaces, laundry bleach (usually 5.25% sodium hypochlorite solution) works OK but read on.
Common hydrogen peroxide appears to work even better. The brown-bottle stuff is 3% solution so diluting it 1:5 with water gets you 0.5% dilution. Adding alcohol increases the disinfecting power.
DO NOT ADD HYDROGEN PEROXIDE TO BLEACH!
