B947C9DF-B7B6-4333-82D9-56E9CA66410C.jpeg So went with Buddy today to practice at 300 yards . As u can see I shot a 200-15x on the target which should put me close to 1st place in a match. So I’m pretty happy . On the other hand my buddy is concentrating on my fliers . I think he’s asking for too much out of me and my gun . I don’t see many people keeping everything in the 10 ring . I’ve only shot one match (500) yard , 394-20x. It would have been much better if I could have seen I was shooting a little high . Anyway , opinions please ? I think he’s asking for perfection . What do u guys think ?

Thx

Mark

I agree, not fliers. Imagine shooting ten of these targets and then plotting a composite, your will probably get a normal distribution.

Also, what discipline are you practicing for? I do not recognize the target.

Not a bad "group" at all, for that many shots. Remember, barrels get hot and "walk". It may be to a small degree but they DO walk. It's hard to hold your rifle to perfection for that many shots! Any number of things can cause some vertical like 1.) partial cloud cover to bright sunshine; 2.) an updraft in the wind or; 3.) a let-off in the wind... These are "common" occurrences that can cause vertical. I think you are just fine with your load!

That is our clubs 300 yard F Class target.

Nice
I don’t think you need to point any Bullets personally smk 107 shoot pretty good and even better if sorted BBTO loading only those within.001 per session.
Carefully weigh charges, Or double weigh ?
Hard to argue with 200-15x

I do weigh to the tenth . What is BBTO ? Forgive my ignorance .

You shoot on a white target with black rings? Never seen that in any matches ever. But I’m not a fclass guy. We make our F shoot on black targets.

I shoot mid range and long range on the NRA conventional prone (sling) target and sometimes have difficulty seeing the black reticle on the NRA black target. I would think that having a black reticle on your white club target with black rings would be helpful for me but have never had the opportunity to try it. Do you find it helpful for your F Class shooting?

If you want to see your impacts, put a white piece of coraplast directly behind your target about 1-2 feet. This will take basically an additional target holder.

I have never shot on an NRA black target . To be honest since I’ve only shot in one match , I thought that was the target everybody would be using . Lol

So if you are using a white target would u put black coraplast(if they make it) behind the target ?
