Guns I Wish I would have never sold

Thought it would be neat to here of the guns you all have sold and wish you would have never gotten ride of. mine are
Ruger GP 100 SS 6" barrel in .357 Mag with a sweet trigger job.
Rem700 LVSF in 22-250 and 7-08.
Rem700 VS in 22-250 and 243 these being the old BDL VS models
Ruger MKII Goverment Slabside Target Model 22LR. with a sweet trigger job.
Oh yea and I regret selling every Canjar set trigger I have ever owned.

I sold:
model12 winchester skeet with high grade wood
springfield trapdoor 45-70
ruger#1 in 458 win mag
marlin light weight 12 gage pump gun from turn of the century that looked new
A 3 digit serial numbered 351 self loader/winchester,mint
walther P38,minty
browning auto 5 like new
and the list goes on.

I sold a Rem 700 BDL Varmint in 6mm Rem. That was a sweet shooter, but as with many 6mm Rem's, the magazine length was it's weak point.

I also sold a Pac-Nor 250AI barrel for a Savage. I've never had such a consistent shooting barrel. I just had no purpose for the round other than shooting it at the range. Looking back, I'm fine with that.

Oh man>>> Now people are going to know just how "out-there" I can be!! LOL!! I sold;

1.) Weatherby .300 Mag. Germany made (Saur) that was beautiful
2.) Remington Mod. 600 Mag. .350Rem Mag. (blonde laminate stock)
3.) Voere Shikar in .270 Win. Maybe the prettiest rifle I had ever owned
4.) Winchester "Pre-'64" .264Win Mag>>>S/S barrel 26" long!
5.) Colt Python 6" S/S
6.) Colt Diamondback 6" blued steel
7.) Browning Side-by-Side double barreled shotgun 20ga... Just Awesome
8.) Remington 1100 12ga. 3"Mag. 30" Full Choke barrel..
Somewhere along the line, I had lost my mind>>>>the above is indisputable proof!!

XP-100 Varmint Special in .223 with a Burris straight IER scope. Shot excellent!
Old 40X walnut stocked in 22-250 w/Lyman Super TargetSpot scope in 12x - Barrel Shot out, but didn't know any better about aftermarket barrels and gunsmithing! Still shot decent!

Everything else I sold or traded, either didn't shoot to my standards or could care less about.

A BRNO ZKM 611 22 mag semi auto. Very nice little take down rifle. Now I have a use for it.

I just remebered the Rem. model 870 Trap gun i sold. That thing had some beautiful figured wood. I didnt shoot it much but it was sure nice to pull out of the safe and just drool over it...then clean up the drool and back to the safe. :'(

Browning Model 92 .357 Magnum
Browning Model 92 .44 Magnum
Remington Model 700 BDL 7mm Mag (1962)
1903 Springfield 4 groove (which I've since replaced)
Smith and Wesson Model 57 9mm
Smith and Wesson Model 36 "Chief's Special" .38
Smith and Wesson Model 15 K-38
Colt Single Action Frontier Scout 22LR
:'(
One gun that I didn't sell but gave to my son so we still have it in our family; as it should be. It's a Remington Model 33 single shot .22 rifle. My dad bought it circa 1937 and left it to me. It's one of those family heirlooms that we'll be passing down for many generations to come. I learned to shoot with it, my son learned to shoot with it and it still produces nice groups on target.

Jeffery double rifle in 400 Jeffery (450-400-3")
John Wilkes double rifle in .500 nitro 3"
Winchester 1886 deluxe rifle in .45-70
All the rest can actually be repurchased

Well I didn't sell it but the only gun I traded off that i wish i had back was an old Winchester 22 single shot bolt action don't remember the model but it was the one that when you closed the bolt you had to pull back the knob or firing pin , also had a safety that was a silver lever that you turned up to stop the striker from falling, you could hit bottle caps with that thing all day long really miss that old gun. Traded it off for a POS pistol :-[

Bdale, it was a Winchester 67. My first rifle. My story...dad traded it to cousin for a Stevens 414 Armory. I have it now. Good deal?..yep. But I miss my first 22 and I am NOT giving the 414 up! And any model 67 I have seen since is priced WAY too high.

I sold an aluminum buttplate Rem 700 Varmint Special 222, and my first duty gun, a SW686, and a Rem 700 VS 22-250. Wish I had all four of these back, including the 67.

The rest of the guns I sold were either duds, junk or I made out fine.

Now I have a policy to sell nothing. And buy wisely.

Snert

The two that top my list are:
:-XDan Wesson 44mag 10" barrel. Shot steel silhouettes with it and that was some fun!
:-XRemington 1100 Trap. Sweet shooter.

Now I'm rreally careful about selling. :'(

I had a keystone arms single shot. .410 that belonged to my grandmother back in the 40s or so. Was passed down to me, let my uncle borrow it for his son and he sold it instead of giving it back!!!! I grew up putting small game on the table with that gun. Lots of memories........

... never sold a gun I liked, but when I was much younger I found a Gretch Chet Atkins Tennessee Rose in a pawn shop in Chicago for $300.00!! Perfect in every way! Then I found Cindy and I sold it for $350.00 so we could go to Arizona for the rest of our lives. Well, I live in Oregon, my wife's name is Veronica and the guitar is worth $5500.00 and played like a dream....jez, i just depressed myself.

Bought an ultra clean Python for $325. Sold it a couple of years later for $550. Within two years they discontinued them....oh well
