I sent 2 action out to Fred and Lisa at SSS on 4/22/2023. I sent it Registered with Signature Receipt and it took 10 days I think just to get to them.
I got them back today 6/5/2023.
All of the older information I saw on this site complained a lot about long turn around times. I did not experience that at all. IN my book that is really fast turn around time.
I heard a lot of people complain of bad customer service and hard to reach Lisa. Lisa communicated with me plenty more than I expected and was pleasant and super friendly. When I had any questions she was easy to reach and never more than 24 hours between email and response it was probably more like 12 hours or less.
This was my first time using Sharp Shooter Supply aka SSS and while I had no contact with Fred Lisa was fantastic to deal with.
Even just working the actions in my hands I could tell a huge difference in the amount of force required to operate the action. I have not had a chance to get new barrels threaded and chambered for them yet.
Since my experience was so positive I figured I should share it. I have never met Fred or Lisa IRL and they owed me nothing I am just some random guy using them for the first time. My point is I am no one special that got special treatment. I do not say this to discredit anyone or minimize their experience just that mine was overwhelmingly positive.
I hope this helps anyone sitting on the fence that might be thinking about using SSS but has reservations because of some of the less than stellar reviews of SSS on this site relating to turn around times and customer service. People that have had a bad experience tend to be much more vocal about sharing the negative experience than people that have had a positive experience.
