Full Sizing - Lube

How do you apply it to the cases, just put it on the RCBS case lube pad and roll the cases?

Put in a spray bottle, shake well and spray.
I put about 20 cases in a zip lock bag, spray a couple of pumps in the bag, shake the bag and load.

Like others I use 99% isopropyl alcohol and liquid lanolin ,10:1 ratio. I have to get the 99% alcohol at the pharmacy and the lanolin off Amazon. A lesser % alcohol contains more water than 99%, but will work. After resizing I place the cases in a sonic cleaner in order to get the cases ready for reloading.

One shot is no good . For spray use dillon case lube.

The Hornady wax seems even better. I’m a convert to it now for almost everything.

What is the ratio of lanolin to alcohol?

12/1 is a good place to start

I started using 6:1, but have since converted over to 12:1. I use the red bottle Iso Heet. It is the most forgiving case lube I have ever used. If I am sizing 20 cases, I might use Imperial. But for any quantity, I use my own made Boot Leg case lube.

As Forum Boss says. Ballistol for me. On cases like the 300 mag I use Imperial.

Ballistol removes a lot of carbon. I pretty much gave up polishing cases

Best FL sizing lube I have ever used. A little goes a long way. In a 1gallon bucket I half fill it full of brass 3-4 shots of this (or store brand canola oil cooking spray) and mix it up with a gloved hand. Cheap, available everywhere and works a charm.

That’s it. I’m necking lake city 7.62 down to 6.5 creedmoor in a single pass in a Forster die and have had no sticking or collapse.

I agree. I still spray One Shot on but its just not working well enough. I add Imperial about every 3ed round.

I did a search for the word lube. There was 7 pages of responses. The first page alone had 560 responses to how to lube.

It does work the brass smoother than Imperial, also leaves the cases with a cleaner feel when wiped off. It may be hard to convert Imperial users though because it has a little more of a oil feel to it.

Since most lubes work the main thing that I am looking for is ease of removal. How does this one compare in that respect?
