Excessive Bump

I mistakenly used a 223 full length die on some of my 222 Rem Mag brass. Now 0.025 below my other brass. Are they toast? Hate ruining 222 Rem Mag brass as it is not easy to get. Would blow them out, but do not want case head separation.

Expand the necks up, and then resize. They will fireform back.
I believe the case neck and bullet diameters are the same for .223 Rem and .222 Rem Mag. Having never fire formed cases, should the bullets be loaded longer to account for the shorter cartridge length and avoid failure to fire?

24cal should be enough expansion for a false shoulder.
I would do a process annealing on the shoulders before necking up and re-fire forming, to help mitigate potential cracking.
You've already added a lot of energy to this brass.

False shoulder? Just works the brass more than needed.
Lots of neck tension, bullet loaded long into the lands, (to hold the case head against the bolt face) fire. May have to do it again if you don't get a full fire form.

I personally would do the false shoulder at .243 diameter since you are blowing the shoulder that far forward. Ideally getting it done in one firing, to mitigate a case head separation.

Don't need a false shoulder. Seems like it would be time consuming and hard to determine where to put it. Just jam the bullet a small amount to keep the case head against the bolt face and FF like any other wildcat.

I've never had good luck using a hard jam vs a false shoulder. With a dummy round and the bbl removed, seat a bullet long, measure case protrusion, then tap the back of the case with a hammer and re-measure protrusion. You get the idea. Also, good ignition needs a solid stop of the case as opposed to a cushioned one. Again, you get the idea, I think. Will a hard jam work..yes. Too many have done it to say that it doesn't but I feel a false shoulder is just a better way, is all.
