Norma 5.56 brass observations

I acquired a bag of once fired Norma 5.56 brass and thought I'm make some 222 Rem brass out of them. They have crimped primers that are really flattened. I ran them through the 222 Rem body die with Imperial. They went through smoothly with no buckles or wrinkles. After trimming them and looking them over the body is very thick which is up in the neck now. I need to get a neck reamer as coming out of the body die the neck section is loose on a bullet(sloppy loose)) until it gets to the part of the neck made from the body of the case and the bullet flat comes to a stop, not snug but a flat stop. I've never run into this before, most of the Mil-brass and Commercial brass I've made 222 Rem from have come out like regular 222 Rem and never needed reaming. With all this effort this should be some really nice long lived brass for my 222 Rem 45gr light loads.

I think de-priming, then annealing before sizing might eliminate a bit of the "bounce-back" you are getting on the neck sizing. Once fired, you should see them blow to proper shape a bit more. Good brass.
