If your neck is .269" it's gonna be hard to create a false shoulder unless you necked it up first. Most loaded blue box brass measures around .268" and the old gold box .269".
the only problem i have had with false shoulder was 1 in 10 rounds would not fire. i was using CCI 450 magnum primers. i also had the thinner 400 cci primers. once i started using them and 30.5g varget they all formed great first time. i use km gear to turn the necks necks down to .011 down approximately the length of the finished dasher neck, i then jam the bullet .010 with both smk and berger hybrids. works ever time. in fact 30.5 varget with hybrids shoots lights out both fire forming and in formed dasher brass.
