Dad passed

Dad fell on June 6th and suffered a brain bleed. He had been in and out of the hospital since then. Last night he was transported to Wapak Manor and put on Hospice. Yesterday (June 23) around 5pm he made the beautiful transition home. Prayers were surely answered as he didn’t suffer and spent his last days resting peacefully.
Sorry to hear about your Dad.

My condolences and prayers. I’m glad he didn’t suffer and it sounds like family was able to say their good byes, both are blessings.

My father has lived with us for 13-14 years now, it really sure how king it’s been buts the guess. He’s 80 years old and his health is in decline. He neglects his diabetes, his addiction to sugar is real and his feet are showing signs of the beginning of necrosis. His life is challenging now and I can only hope that he doesn’t suffer and he loses the ability to do things he loves.

A difficult time for you and your family, I am sure. Happy for you that through faith, the greater good is shining through.

Sorry for your loss!

Many of us who participate on this Web Site are senior citizens, which means in all likely hood the majority have lost our parents. So we know the sense of loss you are experiencing.

I lost my Dad in 1985. He started a business, had four Sons to train and take it over so he and my Mom could enjoy the finer things in their senior years. He was possibly the most intelligent person I ever knew. He was a hard man but never challenged me to do anything he did not think I was capable of.

He contracted Lung Cancer and died at just 60 1/2 years. I am now 16 years older than my Dad when he past away. He left my Brothers and me something to build on, and we did.

You have my sincere condolences. The pain will pass, but the memories last a lifetime.

Sorry for your loss, Glad he did not suffer,
We lost our dad back in 1993 unexpectedly & it has left a hole in the family to be sure, But, I know we will see him again some day & it will be glorious!

Prayers for you and your family. I lost my Dad in February of this year. We knew it was coming but it didn't make it easy. However, I do find peace that Dad lived a full life. I often find myself wanting to tell Dad something realizing that I can't like I used to.
