Dad passed

Dad fell on June 6th and suffered a brain bleed. He had been in and out of the hospital since then. Last night he was transported to Wapak Manor and put on Hospice. Yesterday (June 23) around 5pm he made the beautiful transition home. Prayers were surely answered as he didn’t suffer and spent his last days resting peacefully.

My dad passed last year (age 87y 7.5 mos) at home, in his own bed, surrounded by people who loved him. He'd been ill for 12 years, starting with an AFib diagnosis and quite a few other serious ailments thereafter.

Glad your dad didn't suffer.

Im very sorry for the loss of your father, but happy for his homecoming, Praise God for His mercy and grace in this transition, both my parents had beautiful transitions home.
What a comfort and joy it is to have loved ones that have received Jesus as there savior, knowing that we will see them again.

My and Jan’s dads passed away 9 days apart in 1989. We were both left with holes in our hearts in a very short span of days. Both had been well until shortly before their passing and neither suffered for long. That’s the way it should be.

I am so sorry for your loss. my mom and dad are with jesus now and your dad is in his comforting hands now.I pray the lord lays his comforting hands on you in your time of loss. mathew 5;4 jesus said blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted.

Often, with a father, it's like the old Joni Mitchell song, "you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone". I often find myself thinking, "I'll have to tell Dad about this", but that ship has sailed. I'm sorry for your loss. WH
