Cz 457 mtr eley match, center x, sk pistol match, sk rifle match

Shot this ARA target last week testing out a new case of sk standard plus.

Made it out to the range today not the best conditions windy and drizzle. Shot 6 five shot groups at 150 yards of centerx to test it out. Seems my rifle shoots sk standard sk rifle match and centerx the same at 150 yards. Cleaned the barrel and shot 1 unlimited target at 50 yards with cci sv seems to shoot pretty dang good for cheap ammo. Might have done a hair better if i zeroed for cci .

Yeah they move around . I seem to be pulling the trigger at the right time. For 150 yards

Also does anyone know the ring size on that ARA target. Is the factory target the same as unlimited ?

ARA Factory outer ring is 1.45" outside diameter
ARA Factory inner ring is 0.85" outside diameter
The ring thickness is .080"

ARA Unlimiter outer ring is 1.00" outside diameter
ARA Unlimited inner ring is 0.50" outside diameter
The ring thickness is .050"

I will have some targets posted up tomorrow after the match. shooting ARA factory and ARA unlimited with the cz 457 should be interesting

Shot both unlimited and factory class with the cz today. Was easily competitive at the local club. I believe the unlimited should have scored 75 points higher on this target. but the score is what it is. Its all fun. Any day shooting is a good day. Let me know what you guys think and or opinions

How often do you clean the barrel, and how do you clean the barrel??

Looking good! Looks like there was some wind. I just got into this myself and it gets real challenging with the clock ticking down and theres wind to deal with.

Here's your shot distribution from the Factory target above overlaid on the ARA Unlimited target. As you can see, the 2500 Factory scores an 1850 on the Unlimited target.

Thanks for doing this again. I will take these results all day long. I was using sk standard plus ammo this time. I might try a tuner see if i can tighten it up a hair for the ul targets. Fighting the wind is a chore mid day. My aimpoint is never in the same spot on the target. I think i am getting the wind figured out and rear bag setup.

Yes wind is the biggest i was holding the 50 ring for alot of the shots 9 oclock and lots of 6oclock holds. The clock is not to big of a deal for me as i am finished shooting and have the magazines reloaded ready for next card right at the 10 min mark.

Thanks. I clean barrel every range trip after i am done shooting for the day. Could be 50 rounds or 500 rounds. For the past 5 months now i think it has shot cold clean bore into the group now. I can get away with not shooting foulers. The unlimited target posted was the first target shot and the 3 shots on top left sighter were the first 3 shots fired out of clean cold bore.
I clean with boretech rimfire rods and their boreguide. I push a wet patch down bore push out all the loose crap. Then i use a bronze brush and vigorous scrub chamber and leade area 30 to 60 strokes , then i brush full length for roughly 10 to 20 more. After that i run roughly 5 patches on a jag down the bore. Then i use a qtip to clean off the breech face . After i get a few bricks shot through it i use jb bore cleaner in the chamber and about 1 inch into bore back and forth. With this cleaning i do borescope reveals no fouling or very little carbon in chamber area. I know i see people cringe while i clean at the range. But it is what works for me. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
