RStewart said:Guy at work says he wants to bring his 16 yo son out to shoot with us. I asked him what did he shoot. He says "I don't know his grandfather built him this $12,000 rifle and he can hit quarters at 600 yards all day with it." I walked away thinking, "this outta be interesting."

The current Guns and Ammo has an article about using 7mm WSM for hunting mule deer. The author claims he grabbed a box of factory ammo off the shelf at the local Bass Pro Shop, drove to the rifle range, flopped down to a prone position, and (with no mention of using a rest or bipod) claims he ripped off a three-shot 1/2 inch group at 200 yards with an ordinary hunting rifle.
Time to raise the BS flag!
I'm not saying it's impossible to shoot better than 1/4 MOA at 200 yards, but I know for sure it ain't easy no matter how good the shooter and/or equipment might be. In this case.................. well... you get the idea.
What's with these guys? Too much BPA in their baby bottles when they were kids?
