That would not be too interesting. I started getting interested in accuracy on my own pretty young. I didnt know anyone that was into it really I just kind of got into it on my own. It was mechanical so I liked it. Bedded my first stock at 14, probably read a book on it I cant remember. I stated shooting at Manatees 1000 yd range, they held group matches back then. Obviously you learn a little from everyone your around, but I never had a mentor. I kind of like working things out on my own.

The scope testing comment sent me into a tail spin. I LITERALLY lost sleep over it. There doesn’t seem to be any testing fixtures available so I’ve already ordered parts to make something. Anyone that has any ideas on products or processes to ease my mind would be greatly appreciated.

IN MY OPINION, the only Long Range Competition scopes worth buying, are those with “LIFETIME”, “TRANSFERABLE“ Warranties. From limited observation, sooner or later, they all need to go back
