Cigar thread time!

The only time I ever smoked was when I was 12, I talked my 10 year old sister into trying it with me. Back then grocery bags were thick brown paper, we took a strip of grocery bag, mashed some cedar bark, rolled it up in the grocery bag paper and tried to smoke it - absolutely horrible experience and never tried smoking again.

My neighbor at the same time smoked a pipe. I would help him clean and put up his catfish when he would get home the next morning after a long night of cat fishing. Whatever he smoked had the nicest sweet odor to it, I loved smelling it, not sure I’ve ever smelled since though.

I am not a cigar smoker but ex cigarette smoker. I have tried many cigars over the years and hands down the most smokable of all were authentic ex-factory cubanos. ( not the ex-cuba counterfeit factory ones). Right now I could smoke a R&J for breakfast. That's how good they are!

I used to smoke ALLOT for 23 years (im only 39) and only suck on one of those girlie vapes now and then now but when playing golf I enjoy smoking a Rocky Patel. I have no idea if its up there with the best but they are pricey over here and not bad at all

Try a Connecticut Shade with any of those or a nice cup of coffee. A few of my favorite CT shade cigars are Black Works Killer Bee CT., Illusione Rothschild CT shade, Aladino, and Room 101 Payback in CT shade.

There was an isolated weed that grew in empty lots near my childhood home in Lewiston, ID. In the fall it dried up and turned a very dark brown with clusters of seeds. We kids called it "Indian tobacco" and tried to smoke it, probably lucky not to have been poisoned. And, we tried smoking ordinary corrugated cardboard, drawing air through the open lit ends of the tubes. These experiments were soon abandoned.

I also recall when I was about 10 my dad sending me around the corner to the mom-n-pop IGA grocery with three quarters and a hand scribbled note to the grocer: Please sell Brian 2 packs of Luckys, tnx, Dick. A pack of cigarettes cost 35 cents as I recall.
