A wonderful mix of people here to say the least. I worked for others until one day, ( I was still in my twenty's ) my boss told me in a very strong accent that I was "rulen't" labor and I should work for myself, because I never would be able to work for someone else. I thought about that for the rest of the day and never went back, he was right.
That was many years ago and I found that, that was the path for me. There have been times that I have worked for someone else and then went to my own Place of work and worked until midnight to get things done.
Doing this produced the money to feed my family and do the things I wanted to do, the ex-racers here understand this very well. ( I am one of those ) It also allowed me to take the best parts of winter to cross country snow mobile, myself and a few others would log in an average of 3500 miles on our sleds per winter, and to be honest some of that time was stuck down in some canyon in waist deep snow trying to dig ourselves out of some creek bed while burning up $100+ belts along the way.
Only you can decide how your life will be spent, yes life is very short, turn off the TV and go live it!
