Chamber flush system build log.

Roger. I'm about half that. Too scared to blow my dongle off the muzzle end of the barrel. I'll turn up the next one and wrap a diaper around the attachment
Yeah I'm drilling and tapping the muzzle and threading my union in which is extra work and you loose and inch. If it's threaded for a muzzle device you could do something like DSMWorks.

I don't do enough to have a serious need for anything else at this stage but they make coolant sealed ER collets but haven't seen any available cheap enough to try. That way you could have a collet set and use a cheap collet chuck with an adaptor on the back to suit the union

He also sold the muzzle adapter with plastic thumbscrews. It caused valzez style disasters in every shop i knew of that tried it. I went to a 1/8npt deuplin coupler after my run in

Were you drilling/tapping the muzzle end? Did you drill it with a hand drill? It's a real PITA to hand drill a 21/64's hold in a 308 barrel by hand

I'm running 80 psi but don't have to worry about a blow out with the muzzle adapter set up. I turn the the volume valve to a smaller flow amount on retracting before the bushing exits the bore. The hose I used was petroleum rated but we'll see how it does. Wish it was more flexible even when new though.
What's that kind of washer called?

This one doesn't leak and will hold at least 100 PSI....

Don't over think it.

When I first got the tubing, it was flexible enough stretch over, but after a year or so, I either have to replace it, or hit it a little with a heat gun to get it flexible enough to stretch.

The nylon screws on gretan cup are a non issue. Just have to keep an eye on the rubber tip rubber air gun nozzle for wear/cracks. They do get harder when used with oil. What wears them is flushing an already crowned barrel or saw cut barrel. If you have a nice smooth lead in chamfer on the barrel...seal hold up fine. Over time, the airline swivel will start to seep. Simply replace and will last another 5 years. Another issue is they come with vinyl hose, atleast they used to. Well mine cracked in a straight portion of the hose and you can imagine the mess I had when that went. Use rubber that is approved for petroleum and no hose issues. Other than that...it works and been using it for 5-6 years now. I may do 6-10 barrels a year so low volume here.
