I actually re-registered yesterday. For the up-coming election, I will be voting as a Republican :o

Lindsey Graham, of course ;)
Sure you are. And I am Tinkerbell.

If he votes Republican, he would be the biggest two faced mother I ever heard of..

Here in Massachusetts we have needed a "permit" to buy ammo or components for a number of years. You need to attend a minimum 4 hour safety training course, pay $100 for a 5 year "Firearms Identification Card" or an LTC. These are issued by the local chief of police. The FID only allows the purchase of rifles and shotguns and loaded ammo and components. The LTC is available in an A and B version. The "A" allows concealed carry and "B" is only for home protection and transport in a locked container within the vehicle. Lots of other issues with FID, LTCA and LTCB regarding magazine capacity, where and how you can use the firearm , etc. Very confusing

http://goal.org/masslawpages/classaandbdifference.html

All ammo must be purchased face to face. NO MAIL ORDER. This is a huge inconvenience to reloaders as there are very few gun shops in Massachusetts that sell components. And the ones that do have extremely limited selection.

Pray this doesn't find its way into your state.......

JRS says you haven't lost any of your rights and he basically is tired of folks crying wolf over gun control.. I forgot, he thinks the NRA is just protecting terrorists rights to purchase guns.. What I get from it, that and the Koch brothers bankroll the dirty Republicans.. Wait, he is a lifetime NRA member and a Republican.

I would travel to get my components. Sure it would suck but there are many out there who would help you out if you did not have family in a close state. I would think deliveries to matches would become very popular.

I like that

Simple questions:
1) Do criminals obey laws??
2) If new laws are passed will criminals obey them?
3) Do gun laws and gun bans work to reduce violent crime?
Ex: Chicago; California; Paris; Australia; http://www.ncpa.org/sub/dpd/index.php?Article_ID=17847
4) What really deters violent repeat criminals by their own testimony????
(hint) bow wow & bang bang.
5) Do violent criminals fear prison time from breaking laws? eg: free rent; free meals; free clothing; no bills; time to read and relax; time to learn new and better tactics; time to exercise and get stronger and healthier

22BRGUY now that I'm reading that Declaration, it reads like they new Obama was coming. And or forefathers didn't know what was going to happen. Scary ???

Please, please no more obama pics. They ruin the day for most people on this site, albeit perhaps one forum member whose initials are J _ _.
What's the problem with profiling? If more voters would have applied it to their selection, we wouldn't be going through 8 years of hell.

JRS I don' think we should be Bashing each other, its the Idiots running the country into the ground we need to focus on. LHSmith If someone would come up with a punching bag with the guy we don't like, you would be Rich. Nice Christmas present! ;)

I agree Joe that they knew and felt the human tendency that people allow themselves to become slaves to governments, and once any freedoms are lost, they never return. The last time there was a free nation before the USA was the Greek Empire before Christ and if we lose this one, there probably will never be another if we haven't already.
I like you, had never taken the time to really sit down and read these documents and the Constitution itself and simply take them for the simple principles they avow. I doubt very many other people have either, although many refer to the Constitution as if they were scholars.
Many people say the Constitution is a "living" ever changing document that has to change with time; that is absolutely false. Principles are enduring and unchanging by their nature and the principles in the Constitution are based on Natural Law. It was also most of all built on the premise of individual responsibility...and that is where we the people have a tendency to fall short in my opinion, and willingly give up our freedoms with the false idea that governments with more laws can more easily and better meet responsibilities that we the people are unwilling to meet ourselves. When the Second Amendment refers to a Militia, it is referring to the individual responsibility we the people have to defend ourselves. I believe the reason we have these mass shootings here in this country is that the people have long ago given up the idea and personal responsibility that they need to be trained and armed in the proficient use of arms and when I say trained I don't mean government trained armies. People believe that governments can create this utopia with all free protection and even free food, housing, medical care and the rest and they certainly do that, and that place is called prison. So much for my rant.

This is precisely what is likely to happen in CA. How do you manage with reloading? I am very concerned about this, as it may just terminate an ability to shoot certain calibers.

I just got back onto this thread
I see a lot of comments but to get back to the begining and to answer questions
If you really want My pinion on this is simple.
Organize' Lobby , March on the capital, Vote Jerry Brown and the others like Barbara Boxer out of office. Picket their reelection campaigns
That,s the only way and you may have to spend some of your personal funds and raise contributions to do it.

California has the most liberal politicians in the us along with Mass and New York new jersey and conn now Mnnesota .

Its a disease. promoted by one party with the other party either standing by or too lazy to care.

Politicians are like diapers They need to be changed offen, after a while they get full of the same things.
