No. The antis are very effective. We aren't. I admit, I really don't know how to be more effective. I write letters to the paper sometimes, communicate with relatives and friends, joined the NRA, but what else can be done to help? Especially here in the San Francisco bay area, where the majority of people would pee in their pants if they even saw the word "gun" and instantly vote for anyone or any measure that is anti-gun. California is lost. We residents are outnumbered. Feinstein, Brown, and the others will never be voted out, no matter what one does. The liberal politicians could all be in jail, and people here would still vote for them. This is just reality.

Maybe it's because most shooters depend on the NRA to do the lobbying
You just need a strong leader who will organize the shooters.
Lets face it many many shooters are lazy for some reason trying to get them to attend a big rally is tough But doable
You need someone to go to each gun club and address the situation and organize the members.
IT will take tons of effort to get it done. The problem is none really explains what is really going on.
we all know it's not gun control But people control
The key is GOOD strong Men will to do what has to be done .
Also organize the veterans oganization,s. Vets Hate infringements on their rights.
You take it from there IF you care.

Better question might be: Shooters - What Will You Do if Newsom Measure Passes and isi used as a model for an element in the O'Bama anit-gun legislation? Don't get too comfortable with the fact that you don't live in California. It can happen anywhere.

That sounds like that famous old quote: "Nothing to see here fellas, just move along" until we wake up one morning with lots of laws but no firearms.
Correct me if I am wrong, if there is a presence (presents?) of someone who shares the love and passion of the shooting sports which I thought was the purpose of this sight and their political views are somewhat more complicated than the run of the mill check your box Republican does that mean they are not welcome?
