Alpha 6BRA brass

Is 29g of h4895 at 2890 FPS a good load to set my Alpha bra. It shot great with Roy’s jammed .009. Just a little worried I’m pushing the first firing a little hard.

I "fireformed" it in our matches this weekend at normal high node velocities. The ladders I shot Friday actually were taken up into the 3070 area with Roy's "A". I was just ambitious enough last evening to size that set I ran the hardest, best I can tell it didn't hurt em a bit.

1st I would like to thank everyone that posts there findings on accuracy and answers the questions that they have learned the hard way. [Time effort and $$].

2nd It gets a little confusing when someone lists powder at 30.4 gr ie. and doesn't say H or Varget etc.
We do appreciate seeing your findings.

Thanks Tom, I’m just getting started and still need to do some work. Taking it to the 600 yard line on Friday. Want to find that upper node but want the brass to last. Neck turning 300 cases. Wish I would have taken it to Vapor Trail this past weekend but I didn’t have enough brass ready.

To answer the questions on the next production run, we are finishing out 6 GT then have a quick run of 22 GT. We are supposed to be on 6 Dasher April 19 but if people admit .080 is better than .060 I may be able to switch it to 6 BRA
Keep the dasher brass in the queue

Ahhh. As Nick Sabin would say, let the process work. Looks like the blizzard is over and Tom is rested up and back to testing. If Alex and Roy can keep him supplied;), we will all learn something.

The lot I have in 6br imp. didn't neck turn good it was very hard and really high neck tension. then I annealed some then turned it and it was way better and my neck tension was normal and it shot very well.... jim
