6BRA Alpha Brass question

Not a Wheeler reamer. My Smith had it made in 2018 by JGS. .471 according to the print. Man I tried everything.. 3rd firing heavy bolt lift and not shooting too hot, 2920. After the issue arose I went through many attempts to make it work wit about 30 pieces.

You might take a chamber cast and see what you've got. Reamers aren't always what the spec sheet says they are.

Yea, I am cutting my loses. This reamer wins 1000 yard benchrest and has for some time… I dont care about a cast. I spoke to a brass expert and he was clear…. Move on.,

If you want to use Alpha BRA brass, that's my understanding.

I'm using the wheeler BRA reamer, and Alpha BR brass just fine.

My rifles are for varmints so bullets are lighter varmint bullets. Brad's - Urbanrifleman - 6BRA reamer works just fine with Alpha. My friend's reamer also works just fine. so apparently it's not necessary to use only the Alpha reamer.
