One can get by without a torque wrench with a fish scale or similar. A 3ft long cheater bar and 30 lbs of pull on the end is 90lb/ft of torque. Saw this on another forum but it is true. I make my action wrenches with a hex for a socket but you can get by without it with some ingenuity.
