A good shooters supply?

Midsouth has been really great for me. In years past I have had good results with most of the bigger vendors. Don't neglect to check with John Whidden. John is a good guy selling great components. Same applies to Champion's Choice.
There are quite a few terrific vendors. Probably a few bad ones, but it's hard to stay in business a long time if you're not straight with the public.

Here are a couple of boutique outlets:

Heger Reloading took over the inventory of McGee Custom Stocks when he retired. They sell Berger bullets and some other supplies mostly for match shooters.

Raven Rocks Precision offers ADG brass for 7-6.5PRCW (although they are out of stock). They also sell some inexpensive 7mm bullets from Meade that I have used for plinking. They are a good source for 9mm bullets in bulk.

Depends what I’m after who has the best price of the day but I typically go to these guys first.

Blue collar
Powder Valley
Natchez
Precision Reloading
Bruno’s
Brownells

*side note, Natchez has a heck of a primer sale going

I use all of the above that has been mentioned except Midway. They are terrible at packaging! They really dont care how the item is packaged. One too many times items arrived broken or out of the box.Never again!

I am another Midsouth fan. Been using them a long time, paper catalog days. :) Brownell's is second. Never liked Midway that much.

I buy at our local Sportsman's or Bass Pro for powder and primers. Sometimes other stuff as well...if they have what I want.

Just used Midsouth for a few items, I like Grafs and Blue Collar Reloading as well as Powder Valley. I compared Midway on a Redding die set and they were way more than Midsouth. I sure miss Russ Haydons

Most reloaded never heard of Russ Haydon, like you mentioned Matt he was the first you would go to when you needed something.

Russ Haydon was a buddy. I bought from him and he bought my rest tops. He loved to hunt coyotes but got to where he didn't travel. Anybody know if he is still around?

Depends on what you're looking for.

My list (this is not written in stone):

General parts and tools: Midway, Brownells, or anyone carrying what I need/want.

Powder: Republic Ammo, Miwall Corp, Powder Valley, Bruno's (really comes down to who has what.)

Primers: Miwall, Republic Ammo (or shop around if OOS.)

Bullets: Bullet Central, Bruno's, Blue Collar, or anyone else who has what I need when I need it.

Rimfire ammo/air pistol supplies (bullseye specific): Creedmoor Sports, Champchoice

Brass is generally Graf and Son's, but I've also bought from Drifters Gear, Brownells, Blue Collar. and a few others (I don't buy brass very often.)

Specific stuff for bullseye shooting: Creedmoor, Champchoice

I like Gun Stop and Mid South. Grafs as well and also don't forget about Powder Valley . I have purchased from all of them, and some in person as well as mail order.
