Powder choice only thing holding YOU back.. there’s others.. accuracy trumps speed all day long !!!I have a 20 PPC with a 9 twist built on a BAT Action. I'm in Ohio. It stabilizes the 55 Berger great. Only thing is, I can't drive that bullet as fast as I was hoping for. I've got really really good accuracy out of the 55 with Varget but only getting 3400 FPS.
Very true Gabe.....I tried a faster powder the other day and crazy high pressures. Unfortunately I didn't have the Chronograph that day. I'm open to ideas if you'd like to share them with me.Powder choice only thing holding YOU back.. there’s others.. accuracy trumps speed all day long !!!

Personally I think Varget is to slow for a 20 cal case. Why do you say anything but varget?
From a competitive standpoint, I’ve learned better. Lol
It’ll probably work in the field, just not all day long.. better have a morning load & lunchtime load..
I think I have talked myself out of the really overbore 20sI have a brand new JGS 20GT reamer and go gauge for sale if that interests you. Set up for no turn and free bore for 55 gr. bullets.
