7-6.5 PRC DIES ??

Except the factory Hornady 7 PRC will be based on the 300 PRC case and not the 6.5 PRC case. It’ll be a long action cartridge and not a short.
I believe the new 7mm is based on the .300 PRC.
I believe it is, also. Which is a great thing, IMO. The 7 RM has needed a modernized non belted version, and the 7 PRC should come in about 100fps warmer than the 7RM with comparable bullets and charge weights.

I'd be stunned though if it didn't have the shoulder pushed back at least a little bit from the 300. Necking it down to 7mm as it would make it far less balanced than the other PRCs are. It would be more like a Weatherby or similar massively overbore design.

Can you not use a LE Wilson 6.5 PRC die with a 7mm bushing?
Jim.. you may be able yo do that.? Provided the neck clearance is sufficient. I did use a Redding 6.5 PRC and bored out the neck to accommodate the 7mm neck for a short time. However much happier with the SAC dies.

Did not read entire thread, so probably already said.. sent my print to Whidden and they told me all they had to do was bore out their 6.5 PRC bushing die and I’d be good to go. I have the die but don’t have a rifle to test everything yet.

to do was bore out their 6.5 PRC bushing
I did this with a Redding bushing die and it worked, however I decided the Short Action Dies produced better brass for my needs in F-Class. I really like their neck-shoulder-bushing design and the versatility in being able to use them in the future for my 30-6.5 Prc as well…

Bullet Central is making a very nice Micron Precision die that is now opened up to 7mm if you ask them. I've had to ask for a 7mm seating stem though for my seating die as they shipped it with the standard 6.5 stem.

We are fortunate to have quite a few high end Custom Dies being manufactured these days.
Yes you pay more for these but I feel the results on paper are justifying the expense for me in producing better brass and subsequently better rounds and scores.
Disclaimer: Some of that is just in my head but even that helps with your scores as confidence in your equipment is worth a few points for sure.
