6mm Creedmoor - thoughts and experience

I'm building a 6mm CM rifle. AP Solus action. 7.25 twist Brux (29") barrel.

Plan is for Lapua brass + CCI BR2 primers + Berger 109 LRT Hybrid bullets + N555 powder.

Comments? Advice? Experience?

Mostly for fun. Max 1k yards.
6 Creedmoor is a great cartridge and will serve you well up to 1000 yards. I recently replaced a barrel on mine at almost 2200 rounds. Lived its life at 3025 fps with 108 Berger BT'S. My new Bartlein 26" 7.5 twist is shooting 115 DTAC's and H4350 around 2890 with good results. I live in the somewhat windy desert southwest and the DTAC's help me with wind calls a bit better. I don't think you can go wrong with the 6 Creedmoor.

Careful with which chamber you select. The “match” chamber has a very long throat. A little too long for even DTACs IMO.
Maybe you're talking about a specific "match" reamer but I remember talking to Dave Kiff w/PTG years ago about "match" chamber reamers and he told me they generally had less freebore then SAAMI spec.

There are a number of really good options out there for shooting long with a 24 caliber but one that just seems to always shoot well and has always been extremely easy to dial a load in for is the Berger 105 Hybrid.

The Hornady 109 ELD-M has one of the highest BC's of any 24 caliber bullet and ELD-M's have always been a bullet I've had very good luck with making shoot well right out of the gate too. I played with the Berger 115's a little in a 6-06AI a number of years ago and they were ok but never could make them shoot as well as the 105 Hybrid.
