It's ready!!! Got it finished, you'll like the fact that this was the straightest barrel I have ever had in my lathe. After indicating the breech end there was .001" runout at the muzzle, 29" away!!! Dies went well, modified the Harrells #2, cut the Wilson seater. Ready to roll. Thank you.

I agree with the new magazine parts for 100% cycling it would be a very good one. Brian Bowling who goes by TAC40 on here shoots it in F-Class and does very, very well, but Brian could use a slingshot and win with it!!!!!

I don`t have that reamer, but do have a no turn 22 BRDX with .020" freebore. I shoot the 53`s in my 22 BR-AI and really like them a lot!

Got home, and snuggled down, hope this thing shoots as good as it mic'd out... guessing I'll have to polish this one.
With all the chatting on the way home, I forgot which powder you recommended...I remember the gr weight, and speed, but I was more concentrated on driving and making it back before 2:30..

Got a lite polish on it, and snugged down. Text you a pic of it with "cecil" in background. Now to mount scope, and just load up some rounds....

2920 fps, and start at 31.5, to 31.6 RL15 or Norma 203-B just keep an eye out for the barrel speeding up inside 200 rounds and adjust back on powder.

Update!!

After barrel , and running 100rds. through it, this thing is a fun great cartridge to shoot!!!
I had a little copper problem at the beginning, but I had to sight the Leupold 45 comp scope in, so I had time to clean... after the barrel settled down, and sight in was complete, it's a TAC driver for sure. I started to see 4 shoots in one bullet hole @100 yds , I got excited and threw the 5th one...
Since there is NO false shoulder, or jamming, it is wonderful to just load and shoot.

RL 15- 31.7 gr.
2958 fps
7 sd
15 es
CCI 450 primers
105 Hybrids .018 off touch

This TAC is fun to shoot!!

Gabe, so glad your having fun. That's what it's all about. I'll give you a tip, I revisited the use of Iosso creme and barrel cleaning for copper is much, much easier now. The 22 version is a hoot too I'll promise you.

Haven't thought about that, yet I have some...might as well get it out..
Oh, seems the heat is affecting my speed, I got the fliers fixed, along with the wind stabilized, and excitement is still up !!
Wish you was here, either cleaning, mag speeding, loading, or shooting ..

Had to let my barrel cool, thought I'd come in and post....

I might amble up that way, sounds like it would be my kind of trip!! My cell phone battery died, its on charge, so if any new pictures have been sent I have not seen them.

You will, and got done testing. I got my vertical under control, and flyers tamed, along with the wind under control. Seems the temps had an affect on my loads today, and 3011 fps doesn't fair we'll on paper..
I believe I might take this to shoot with Eric.
