6BR Reamer for 500y F-Open

I have an old Remington 722 bench gun that I'd like to screw a prefit 6BR barrel onto for shooting 5/600 yard F Class.

I've had great luck with my FTR barrel from Northland so I asked for their 6br reamer print. (File attached)

I dont know much about 6br but it seems like the freebore is pretty short on this guy?

Thoughts? What weight bullets are best for this reamer?

From my own research- always appreciate feedback, if my conclusions are off base here

But in a 6 BR Norma the .93 freebore is on the shorter side of acceptable for heavier bullets.
I think anywhere between .93-.130 would be ok. So I don't think that should hold you back too much

I shoot 105's in a .060" freebore with 8 twist. Works well. Dial up .030" on your calipers and take a look at how much we are worried about. As others have said the 6BR is very forgiving.

Cheers guys. Going to go for the Northland barrel. It's not for a serious gun, just something fun to get one of dads old bench rest guns to the f-class club.

Criterion 6 br barrels shoot pretty good with a .093 freebore, I run 107 smk also 108 Berger
No worries

I use a .094 free bore and run 105 and 108 bergers, the freebore grows fast enough on its own. .094 is a great place to start. All bullets are seated above the neck shoulder junction.
