Where is that target? Don’t be ashamed.Fascinating. Exactly where I landed. Using 115 Berger’s for lack of anything better. I’m to shoot tomorrow again to confirm the charge. I’ll try and post a pic of the target.
Let us know how it shoots with the brass and load data. Less powder and same or better results is always better - I think?I am finishIng up a batch of 100 Peterson 7BR to 30BR. So far the only troubles I have encountered are the 3 pieces I bit the shoulder turning the necks. After 1 cycle fireforming, it appears to hold a grain less than my Lapua brass.
The 30 BR Remington is the only one likely to find in a manual - as it is a "legit" cartridge. Berger and another manual or two of mine list that as well.Accurate Arms & Sierra have the 30BR listed in their manuals but I have not seen it anywhere else.
Sierra list bullet weights from 110 gr. to 190 gr. in their VI Edition.

Showing one group is meaningless. Showing the entire set of groups shows a better example of what a rifle is capable of.
How is your 30br work up going. Still waiting on that target.Fascinating. Exactly where I landed. Using 115 Berger’s for lack of anything better. I’m to shoot tomorrow again to confirm the charge. I’ll try and post a pic of the target.
I abandoned the entire project. Now have a 6BR barrel chambered. How is your 30br work up going. Still waiting on that target.![]()
I was astonished at the accuracy shooting the fire form loads. First real test coming up this weekend. I’ll post a target, I promise. I’m quite chuffed with the gun as it turned out and I think I can get it to shoot! How is your 30br work up going. Still waiting on that target.![]()
Looks like it's beginning to come together no doubt. What bushing are you using?Discount the first two. Foulers and adjusting my scope. Got the vertical out with the last load.
324. It’s a Krieger chambered by Alex Wheeler with a .332 neck.Looks like it's beginning to come together no doubt. What bushing are you using?
