300wsm Sako 75 finnlight load recommendations

THIS IS MY FIRST POST SINCE COMING OVER TO THIS GROUP!

I recently purchased a Sako 75 finnlight .300wsm 1 in 11 Twist!

I want to use the Berger Classic Hunters in 168’s or the 185’s!

And as far as powders what would you recommend h-1000, h-4350 or h-4831SC!
(I have h-4350, RL-17 and ,RL-23 already)

I was gonna order Norma Brass

And I already have Federal matched primers 210m ( would you recommend the Federal matched magnum prmers )

WHAT COMBOS WOULD YOU GUYS RECOMMEND? I hunt south Texas low fence!!!!!

RL-23 and H-4831sc would by my top picks.

You're good to go with the 210m primers. 215m would be recommended if you intend on shooting this load in extreme freezing temps.

Load data for the 300WSM can vary a bit due to freebore lengths and COAL.

The following loads are at 2.860" COAL

168 Berger Hunting Hybrid

RL-17 = 66 gr MAX / near max

H-4350 = 65 gr MAX / near max

H-4831sc = 70 gr MAX / near max

185 Berger Hunt. Hyb.

RL-17 = 64.5 gr MAX / near max

H-4350 = 64 gr MAX / near max

H-4831sc = 69 gr MAX / near max

Sorry I have no data for RL-23 / RL-16, which should also be a good powder for your application.
RL-16 is also a very popular powder nowadays.

Alliant website has 300wsm data with RL-16, but not with RL-23

Thanks for the advise! Greatly appreciated! I’m in Africa right now working offshore, and just trying to get dome ideas! I just ordered the rifle while out here, can’t wait to get home and put my hands on it and shoot it. I have that program QuicLoad at home forgot to bring it out here with me!
