You guys seem to be having good luck with the slow powders and CCI 250 in the 30 cals. I might have to swap over and do a full test run with 250s on my 300 NMI.
Yes, I would run a 3× ladder, and run it in better condition. It was pretty ugly Sunday here when I shot this one.So will you work in 63.1-63.7 gr area? Since those three printed same POI
Thanks. Learning more and more about how y’all do it.Yes, I would run a 3× ladder, and run it in better condition. It was pretty ugly Sunday here when I shot this one.

This is pretty new chambering with limited data, as far as i have seen. Any info is welcome.....Ok, forming brass now in a 26" barrel 6grove. Things are on par for speeds if converter over to 30" barrel lenght. My question is is there any advantage accuracy wise going from a 30 inch to a 32 inch barrel. As in Burn rate accuracy Etc. I will be primarily using this for f-class. Probably shooting the 215 s if the accuracy is there. Let me know what your thoughts are on barrel length. Thanks in advance
I plan to test some next month. On paper and ballistics calculator the 208s appear to be better in the wind vs the 200.20x which I’m using now. But I’ve heard some guys having odd flyers mid string using the 208s over in FTR. I’ll report backAnybody try the Berger 208 lrht? Seems like it could do pretty well with this cartridge.
Glen what primers are you usingThis is pretty new chambering with limited data, as far as i have seen. Any info is welcome.....
How many grains of Rl16 was this? And were you using a 210m primer? Thanks@GlennK
I haven't shot mine in over a year now, but this was where I left off with 215s and rl16 back then. There were jump nodes as well, but my jam node seemed to be in just a bit further than you tried.

Anyway, this was the first barrel the reamer did, and is a 9" twist Krieger. Due to the fact that adg 7 saum brass is dimensionality smaller than 300 saum brass from other makers, Alex's cartridge should really be called "300-7saum adg" lol...but 300 saum imp works
Is this with rl23?Gun is getting close...primers next and then final seating. 210 vlds on the lower node.View attachment 1206228
Yes rl23Is this with rl23?
Cci 250Glen what primers are you using
210m yes, and in the ballpark of 61.5 grains if I recall correctly, and it was close to pressure problems at that so work up from 59ish slowly. How many grains of Rl16 was this? And were you using a 210m primer? Thanks
Yes that is correct. 210s sorted. They are 2885 ish for speed. There looked to be a node around 2930, but this charge looked happier.. Need to learn how to trim and point
Certainly no need to improve the case, unless you want more velocity. The high node with a 210 is around 2930 fps in the improved case in 30".I shot my way to the World Championships in 2013 at Raton using the 300 Saum. You don't need an improved case IMHO because my load was 57.0 H4350 using Berger 210"s. All I did to "tune" the load was switch primers. Some barrels liked BR's and some liked Fed 210's. Magic velocity was 2780 fps from a 30" barrel. i shot out 6-7 barrels and every one liked that load. My reamer was a stock 300 SAUM SAAMI spec with the throat lengthened. I would seat for a .015 to .020 jam and let the barrel wear into a sweet spot where the accuracy lasted until barrel end of life. The early versions of the Berger 215's didn't shoot as stable as the 210's so I stayed with them.
