Going to have the barrels fixed and set to virgin brass..010 is quite a bit. I would be jamming them good. And keep an eye on them for case head separation.
Question concerning dies for @Alex WheelerTried to buy one at Bullet Central during their Black Friday sale but they're out of stock.
Micron Precision Series - Seating Die, 300 Norma Improved 35 Degree (300NI35AW)
If anyone has one they're not using I'd like to buy it.
I did post this in the Marketplace also.
Thanks in advance,
Wayne aka WAMBO
That sounds like a great idea, who did you have ream it out?I use a forster seater. I just bought a 300 norma and had the sleeve reamed out to 35 improved and it's been great. It was easy and fast to get at the time.
Anyone with the reamer can do it. My smith at the time did it for free. Flatline precisionThat sounds like a great idea, who did you have ream it out?
Nah, you're whiney all the time Mouse!Man, I get whiney when I get one a quarter of a thou different!
@shoot4fun i believe the Hornady was the first ones available, and is what I run. It's been a good sizer and hasn't given me any reason to "upgrade". I use a Wilson seater Alex made me for seating.

Good idea
So basically the go guage isn't really necessary and need to base it off of virgin brass. No crush it's to longGood idea
I appreciate the info.Normally the brass doesnt vary much. The main goal is some light crush. However the smith decides to do that is up to him.
I just had a carbide sizer die reamer made for this reamer design. I'll be in the shop this week playing with the newlon die blanks. I've built alot of dies for my 338 lapua ai reamer so not a newbie on making dies. Figured it was faster then waiting on the micron diesThat sounds like a great idea, who did you have ream it out?
