2016 MidSouth Marksmen MR/LR Matches (AEDC - Tullahoma, TN)

Congrats to all the winners! Also, way to go Jade!!! Only one point behind the FO winner (Danny Biggs) and a higher X-count...very, very impressive!!!

2 tough cookies right there! They both know how to bring it home.

Congrats to all the winners. Way to go Jade! Impressive score right up there with the Open shooters.

Congrats to the winners!..........Great shooting Jade!! You still shooting the 215's?

No, I shot my old barrel with 210s. It had 2500 rounds on it at the beginning of the weekend and it shot lights out, my X count was very high and vertical was tight so i know it hadn't dropped off accuracy yet. We'll see how long it can shoot on that level. As for the 215s, I think i may be done with them as my 200 & 210 loads are more consistent.

Just wanted to thank all those who attended. Me and John consider it an honor to be able to run a state championship for such a great bunch of shooters. A special thanks goes out to John Huskey, Jack Dickson,Tonya Venters and a bunch of other unnamed individuals who just make things happen. Attached please find the final results. These along with a ton of pictures will be posted on our web site. www.midsouthmarksmen.com
under the state championship tab. Hope to see everyone at the Dean Herron Memorial match on the 25th.

Thank you MSG (Ret) Tim Kreier, John and Tonya Venters, John Huskey, Jack Dickson for another great match.

MSM Shooters,

We are less than 2 weeks out from the Dean Herron Memorial Match (3x600) being held the 25 of September at AEDC.
Get this on your calendar and come out and get your name on the trophy. Their will also be a 3x600 match at Henry Co
on the 24th. If you haven't shot there yet you need to come and check it out. A great facility that has a lot of potential
to grow. Hope to see you there...........................MSG(R) Tim Kreier MidSouth Marksmen

Do you cancel if it rains on match day?

We do not cancel matches because of rain. Rest assured if I say there is a match I will be there rain or shine to run the match. Only a active lightning storm will cause a delay in the conduct of a match. IE a delay, not a cancellation of the match. Hope to see you there.

I hate that I am going to missing this, and the mid-range, due to work.

I need to retire so I have your kind of free time, Tim. ;)

Yes,i am planning to attend. It will be my first match.Question off topic,I have a few guns and re-loading components for sale. Is it ok to bring them to try and sell at the match?

Not a problem. You can put them out before the match while we do registration and squading.
Hope to see you there..................

Again I would like to think Tim and John for everything they've done. I truly enjoyed the match at the Henry County. What a great place to shoot. You guys are great. Oh by the way, Tim, don't forget to send me my score card so I can frame it.

MSM and Henry Co Shooters

Saturday we had the final 3x600 for FY16 at Henry Co Gun Club. Attached please find the results. It was a great day and the weather was warm but tolerable. Congratulations to the following shooter, Aubrey Brock high prone, Brad Plant high F-Open ( if the NRA web site is correct, he was 2X's off the national record) and John Venters high F-T/R. Stay tuned to the FY17 schedule for Henry Co, we are planning monthly matches thru the shooting year. Hope to see you all at Oak Ridge 22/23 October for the combined Prone/F-Class MR State Championship.
