2015 Palo Alto Spring Regional- March 7 and 8, 2015- RESULTS ADDED

Yeah Ben, Jade was on his A+ game last weekend as were you sir. Great shoot out between you and Decareaux. I had to scold him for letting my title go back to Texas. LOL.
You did in fact earn every stripe in the ribbon my friend and as you can see, at Palo Alto, those ribbons are pretty hard to come by. It's why IMMIKE refers to it as "The Hornets Nest". You are now officially a fellow Hornet. <Grin>
Great shooting Ben, Jade and Kenny.

I would like to also point out my friend Tony Arcemont. I was complaining about the wind blowing my big ol .308 bullet around all weekend and then I had to just sort of shut up when I realized that my friend Tony was laying down right next to me, winning F/TR silver shooting a .223.
Whew! Good shooting as well Mr. Arcemont.

I don't know if I met Mr. Arcemont or not>>> I am good with remembering faces>>but names>>Well that is not my forte. But after I read on here that someone WON Silver with a .223, especially in those conditions we had, I thought "WOW this guy can shoot"! I felt a tad bit "under-gunned" on Day 2 with my Dasher! If I would have been shooting a .223, I would have wilted! My hat is OFF to someone with that sort of ability! Amazing! Thank YOU for the kind words. So I am "Officially a Hornet"! I will wear that proudly as a "Badge of Honor"! Thank You!! I watch your scores too, during the year. You are a Top-Flight "Hornet" my friend! LOL!!!!

Wow, I'm glad I read this!! I bet Mickey Brinkman forgot to issue your hornet wings. Lmao

Ben you and Mike are correct; if Tony decides to go 'OPEN" we are all in trouble. This was the third major match I was privaledged to shoo/score for him and I continue to be amazed at his skill with that little bullet.
Congrats to all the winners in a hard fought match.

I think I'll have a banner made up that says- "Welcome to the Hornet's Nest." I'll put it up for Regionals and Championship matches. 8)

Congrats Again Ben & Jade!!!

Thanks Keith! I appreciate it! They are ALL a GREAT bunch of shooters there BUT, more importantly, they are ALL a GREAT bunch of REAL people! Rick: Maybe change the title of the match to "Louisiana Regional Hornet's Fest"! LOL!!!

Congratulations to all the winners, sounds like a really great match to attend. Like Scott said, maybe next season I can make one of the Louisiana or Texas matches.
A special congratulations to Jade, his hard work and steady improvement are paying off.

Keep it up Jade!

I lost my mind last weekend.....
Wind and mirage was doing some tricky stuff. Thought about trying to sneak the 6x47 on the line in F tr. Lol

Although we don't hold a candle to Tony's level of shooting expertise let me say that the 1st place winner in the combined category, Vaughan McDonald was also shooting a "little .233" with 80 SMK's as I was. The sequel is in the making!! 8)

The pavilion over your firing line is the "Hornet's Nest"

NEST : The place or bed formed by a bird for laying or hatching her eggs, a number of persons frequenting the same haunt, a snug abode.

HORNET : That's you guys, lol

You all have a good thing going, keep up the good work gentlemen.

Yeah Mike, its a great club down here with guys like Rick and others that work their butt off to make it happen. Weather stays warm enough to shoot year round and shooters from all over the southern states attend the matches on a regular basis, even the monthly matches have high turnouts. It's a lot of fun and i feel very lucky to be able to hang out with these guys/gals, hopefully one day you can find the time to make it down for a match........... ;) :) 8)
