Palo Alto State Mid-Range/F-Class Championship- October 4 & 5, 2014- RESULTS

Big Thanks to Rick and crew for putting on one heck of a match! That was the most efficient and well run match I have ever been to! It was great to meet everyone and the hospitality was top notch, looking forward to coming back and shooting again.

Hey Barry, I just wanted to say again, you shot EXTREMELY well, especially in those conditions we had Saturday! Congrats on a GREAT win!! I was very pleased to meet you and your better half!

Thanks Ben, I knew if I stood any chance to place in the top three I'd have to shoot well b/c I was up against a bunch of stiff competition. Fortunately I was able to read the conditions better the second day! My wife and I enjoyed meeting you as well and look forward to shooting with you in the future.

Congratulations to the winners! Good shooting.

Is this match always the first weekend of October?

We not only plan on being back next year>>>we are planning on the Regional's in April! Don is a fun loving "no holds barred" kind of guy! LOL!! It was nice meeting you and everyone! I thoroughly enjoyed everyone's company.. Shooters are the best people around.. It was MY pleasure to shoot with such a GREAT group..

I had never considered the 90 gr. bullets for .223! Good grief, they beat the 185 grain Bergers in .308 by 2" on wind drift at 1,000 yards. I'm sorry I even ran the numbers now, since that totally changes the F/TR equation. I take back everything I said about .223 not being competitive with .308 in F/TR.

I scored some of the relays for Tony Arcement and watched him shoot x after x with those 90 grainers. That is why I have one in the mix for shooting Mid range to learn wind reading better. That and the .223 is so darn fun to shoot.
