The Vartarg is just a necked down to 20 .221 fireball with a little different shoulder angle. The 20/22tcm ? What is it? Compare it to the Vartarg .

Truer words have never been spoken !As an accuracy viewpoint from a bench rifle , which 20 cal. has the most accuracy potential in the 20 family .For example with the 22’s the .222Rem. has a well known and deserved reputation so.....what about the twenty’s , all things considered.
For real world (registered tournament) bench-rest shooting, using a 20 Cal., anything much over the capacity of Vartarg (221 Fireball), is WAY over kill - especially the PPC and BR capacities, which relative to bore, are HUGE Magnum volume! Yes, they will "shoot" - for a little while (low volume), like rockchuck & coyote shooting. The excess heat generated by rapid firing, will make the best barrel/bullet combination, "go south" - cooling the barrel becomes a BIG deal.I will keep my 20BRs and 204s for critters and nothing over VarTarg for competition performance testing.
