10mm Glock long slide and the 150 yard gong.

I was thinking of getting the B&T USW-G conversion kit but its $$$ and doesn't look as comfortable to shoot as the Recover. If I ever find a used one or greatly discounted one, I will buy it. It just doesn't look like its worth $550.

Sighting in for a pig hunt, I shot my Glock at the 150 yard pig gong, just for sh$$s and giggles. First ten shots went 8 hits, two misses with a five hits in a row. Second ten went 5 hits out of ten. I put a 22 pound spring and a KKM barrel in it. My reloads are in the 1350 FPS range. Lots of fun when my buddies were saying “ No way!”

Thats one way I like to intro guys to the ease and capability of shooting a pistol at 100
Show them you can actually hit stuff at 200 lol
And yes the same reaction is always
NO WAY!

YES WAY!, its not out of the realm of possibility with the right gun
a 40 and a 10mm are so flat, they are almost easy to hit steel at 100.
Keep it up man, I'm proud of ya!

I put the Recover 20/20 brace on my Glock 34 and it really reduced my group size. Everyone at the range was amazed with my group until the came over and seen I was cheating with the brace.

I have been thinking of getting a Recover 20/21 for my G40 just to see how much it improves shooting longer distances. Plus I need to get a stock end for the G34 as its a SBR now and the stocks/braces can be swapped between the 20/20 and 20/21 models.

Does your arm still lock into the tab on frame after you install the pistol in 20/20? mine wont. The install tweaks the frame a touch. Also I cut off that fin on the top of the butt...alot more comfy.

I can get on target instantly using a RMR with one of these gadgets. I could hunt with one in the brush- woods for sure.

I see one of those other $$ varieties being pita for 100-200 yd shooting cause the optic is frame mounted so would have to be re-zerod everytime you mount pistol. And re-zeroing with a RMR is a pita alone, at least with the Triji. I wont use chicom holosuns again.

Last year I ordered a micro-roni for my g45, on advice of a military friend, but it was way too bulky for its purpose. Luckily the pistol didnt fit even though that model was stamped on it. Took me forever to get it returned and re-funded dealing with the flaky importers in Miami.

I’ve been told that before but I’m an old school dinosaur. I shoot pistol with open sights.
I have a 44 Mag S&W 629 with an 8 3/8 barrel and I’ve never thought of putting a scope on it.
I’ve been playing around with shooting pistols at longer distances to push my own mental boundaries of what a pistol can do. When I was younger, I carried my 44 S&W and could hit an 8” plate at 30 yards with ease. Now, I’m finding I need a brace to go long. A tree, wall, etc. is what I need to plan to use if I want to shoot at distance, and at what distances I can hit something if I need to.
You are one of the lucky ones whose eyes are still good after 50. Mine started going out for short distance around 45. Long distance is still fine. If I could see the front sight I would be shooting 'classic' too.

My 20/20 arm still locks.
I did have to trim the body of the 20/20 (I think it was an older model) where the right side slid lock is. It was pushing it in to the frame causing the trigger to not return (Timney Trigger).
