Welcome to the new HQ

And the blast cabinets if possible...all best being outdoors IMO.
Made the mistake of setting up a stock duplicator in the shop, i hadn't adequately considered that dust collection with them is a futile undertaking. Even partitioning it off wasn't effective so it was disassembled until such time as I have a covered outdoor space for it.
Really good pointer...

Yes my blast cabinet is also on wood machine side....it leaks too.

You read my mind. Already ordered scaffolding. Will likely use steel for the ceiling. And will probably end up installing a sub panel in the other corner of the shop. I'm lucky to have a dedicated 200 amp service right behind me where I took the photo.

I'd use a SQ D QO panel personally.

If you have enough headspace, you might consider a bridge crane too.

With epoxy floor coating the best system I've seen for endurance, non slip and still very easy to clean up was to. Grind or blast the floor, first coat is a thin epoxy to penetrate and key into the concrete. Once first coat is tacky apply a high build epoxy and allow to dry. Once that is dry apply polyurethane and allow to go tacky before dispersing dried kiln sand and applying a second coat of polyurethane.

The grinding and build epoxy gives you a strong level surface. The polyurethane makes it very easy to clean while still having a lot of grip from the kiln sand. Downsides are that you can't touch up scratches or damage and it's expensive AF.

An alternative that I've seen is a sealant. It obviously seals the concrete preventing stains, easier to clean, can be repaired easily and it's a lot cheaper. Works best if the floor is smooth and flat to start with as you generally don't grind prior and the sealant doesn't build or level.

That’s a regret I have…I should’ve done something with my floor, even staining it would’ve been better. I don’t believe you will kick yourself later if you do it but I know you will if you don’t.
