Problem With Garmin Xero Update 03/21/25

I was able to update through the app. Just had to relaunch the app (Shotview) and it sent it to the chronograph. Then click update on the chronograph when prompted.

Tech rep told me to update with Garmin express on the computer. I think the app might have been part of the problem on not transferring the update properly.

I just updated and will check the device when I head back out. All of my 6GT 4 shot groups registered only 3.

It will go to the newest version. The version should show which one it is when you download it on the computer.

Just updated to 3.32. Will report back tomorrow. I do have downrange turned off.

Hopefully someone reports back before me but I'm heading to the range on Saturday. If it doesn't work you should be able to hear me swear 8000 miles away.

I wonder what the updates will be like in the new Athlon radar chrono garmin copycat. It sure looks alot like a garmin. Probably made by the same chyneeze company as the garmin, but almost half the price. I got on the mailing list to get one as soon as they hit sometime in April. A buddy of mine has the garmin, i`ll do a compare session when the Athlon shows up.

I updated to 3.30 Saturday before a match and the Garmin missed a lot of shots.

Updated to 3.32 yesterday and fired 20 rounds. It recorded all of them.

You can update with the phone, it’s just quicker to force an update on the computer. This was not related to the mobile app.

There has been an option to delete all sessions for a while now. Is that what you’re asking about or are you wanting to delete multiple selected sessions (but not all) at once?

I tried that and never updated so resorted to Garmin Expess and plugging it in computer.
Took like 2-3 minutes.

I tried too, and it says newly updated to 3.27.
Maybe leave well enough alone for now.

I had the same issues after an update (3.27 to 3.30) this past Sunday. Garmin worked flawlessly up to that point, had never missed a shot. Immediately after the update it started missing shots...anywhere from 20% to 40%.

After the first update the Garmin showed version 3.30, but my ShotView app still showed 3.27. Last night I updated to 3.32, but the app still shows "Version 3.27 - Up to date". I also had to use Garmin Express to get the update on the chronograph. No mater what I tried it would not update the App in order to update the unit.

It'll be close to two weeks before I get a chance to see if this latest update fixes the issue, so I'm looking forward to hearing from others if the update resolves the issue.

Where does it show on the Garmin unit itself on what version it’s on? Thanks.

I think I finally found it on my Garmin unit under Settngs then About, this gives unit ID. It has on that SW: 3.32, so maybe it did update the unit and the App still shows 3.27.
Edit: I guess SW might stand for Software. One of those Duh moments. lol.

Agreed. I think the unit itself has updated to the latest version, but it doesn't show on the app...just seems strange that they didn't link up or pair up like they're supposedly supposed to. My app is two versions behind as it still shows 3.27 whereas the unit itself has gone from 3.27 to 3.30 where things went to S&$T and now it's up to the latest 3.32.

All I care about is that this latest update resolves the issue...I'm having Labradar flashbacks, PTSD, blood pressure rising and anger management issues all at the same time.
