Don’t You hate it when they fade and shrink ?I tried washing them which was ok but had trouble hanging them on the clothes line to dry, but the real problem was trying to ironing them to get the wrinkles out
The problem with ironing is that it smoothes out the abrasive action of the cotton..I tried washing them which was ok but had trouble hanging them on the clothes line to dry, but the real problem was trying to ironing them to get the wrinkles out
I wash the 6mm patch in hot water so they will shrink then I can use them for 22 patchesDon’t You hate it when they fade and shrink ?![]()

Hello Dave , To be honest it was a while ago that I read about the triangular patches but I think it was the "Boresmith" patches. I am still using my stock of round patches I bought these before understanding just how important the patch can be in the cleaning process. I do use a bore guide and a Bore Tech rod for both Rifle and Pistol. As a "newbie" I like the "Proof-Positive" system I feel in touch with my cleaning process. I did purchase a bore scope but have yet to use it as life gets in the way of shooting. LOLAre these the boresmith brand triangle patches??
LMFAO!!!!At what temp do you wash the patches? Best detergent? Cold or hot water? Dry on what setting?
Where's Guffy?
