I don’t know what happened to the other thread on these things but I ran the .224 62 grain to 3450 from an 8 twist and everything made it to the target.
They shot awful however, holes were round but poor groups at best. 3” “patterns” were as good as they would go for my rifle.
The gun is a well used 22-250ai that shoots quite well. Maybe the barrel went to garbage or I haven’t found the right spot yet, or I need a faster twist.
I’m not sure yet, the rifle shoots 75 bergers into small groups and has for a number of years.
I haven’t revisited the 62 yet but will take a look at it again soon.
