Liberty Safe -- Issue with Access Codes

It didn't take liberty long to change how they handle this situation.... Recently put out by them you can now have your information deleted and very soon when you register your safe that will be an option... The outrage has changed how things will be in the future for sure.... They saw what's happening to companies and that Patriots are FINALLY standing up and changed their company policy while they still have a company....

In short, they caved. For whatever good it did the reality regarding entry to such products.

Fact is, though, that legitimate search warrants followed-to-a-T will still be lawfully authorized to open up such stuff. And no amount of non-participation or changing of a policy is going to keep out someone if that someone has enough time and the tools to open it.

I appreciate they made such a u-turn with a policy. Probably their best approach. Particularly since, given the right tools and an hour, opening a safe isn't much different than opening a car, it'll get opened up in such situations anyway. So, they might as well have altered the policy. It's not as though a car or safe or home is an encrypted space. If a determined law enforcement effort (or criminal enterprise, for that matter) is intent on entry ... it'll happen. Nothing Liberty or anyone else can do will change that.

Modern life is what it is, given the current state of tech and materials.

Am glad to see patriotic people awakening. It's about time. But then, with such things as this, in the end it won't matter much in the face of a determined entry.

Caching in secret locations. About the only real way to reduce risk of access, with such things. I'm assuming a good proportion of the so-called "patriots" out there take such a path, with vitals.

Great now that they have convinced you of their good intentions they can continue to spend their profits to elect Democrats that are trying to strike down the 2nd amendment entirely. I am glad that you approve. They need to go the way of Bud Light. I totally believe that they saved this guys house from being trashed, and that the FBI was getting into it no matter what. But the political donations are the real problem that only came to our attention from this fiasco.

Charlie Kirk found out liberty safes parent company is a major donor to anti gun democrats....Pretty crappy for a company who manufacturers gun safes... Honestly I really didn't care about compliance with a warrant for law enforcement what are you going to do if it's a proper warrant... We found out they have the combination to our safes but this is to far for me...

My next safe won't be you know who though....
Just say it.
Not buying a Liberty safe ever.
Watch the maneuvering to rescue this.
Coca Cola recovered from the “New Coke”
Budweiser took a big hit but their foreign owners are really huge so….
Liberty safe? They will probably be sold for pennies on the dollar and come back in a new set of clothes.

They probably are laughing among themselves as they let gun owners “fund their own demise…”

Most electronic combination safes can be changed to a mechanical/dial combination safe. A competent locksmith can change the whole thing out in less than a hour. Then only 2 people will know the combination, you and the locksmith.

However, just like a burglar trying to get in your house, if the government wants in your safe, they will get in.

Regarding electronic locks .... I would note that there are 'black boxes' where they disconnect your electronic keypad and plug in the ribbon cable running to the latch into their black box. It will run through all of the lock combinations to figure out it out. It takes time, but it'll get it open.

Like I said folks if they had a legit warrant they could have just pryed it open... But giving money to anti gun Democrats is the straw that broke the Camels back.... I don't want even one penny of my money given to them... We're way beyond opening the safe for law enforcement now.... As you can see they ( democrats ) don't care about the constitution , your rights or anything American, they only care about power and it will be a cold day in hell before i help them ruin America... The first step in making slaves is disarming them....

Y’all got any problems with Champion safe company and good old school S&G combination locks ?
I keep wondering the same thing. You couldn't run fast enough to give me a battery operated safe. Got a locksmith in the family and know several more and they all say the same thing, (it ain't if, it's when). They also all say that most all of the lower price safes are made the same so just figure an hour and $150 to put an S&G dial on whatever you can find new or used and move on... unless you spend some real money you can get in any of them pretty easily. Plus if you have something like Fort Knox itself and you wake up and some goblin has a pistol stuck in your wife's ear and for you to open it up, well, you know how that's going to work.... John

There are master combinations in addition to the user combination. All you're changing is the user combination.
I find this hard to believe. But I also find it hard to believe Biden is the president.
I no longer know any locksmiths. Just seems hard to fathom.

I hope a boycott works but gun owners have short memories I think. Benchmade, springfield armory, and rock river arms were all at one time the target of a boycott. All are still thriving. All were caught donating money to democrat campaigns.

Watch this video. It covers 'override codes' start at 5:28 and gets in to electronic specifics at 7:20

So let's get this straight. The problem is that Liberty Safes is owned by an investment company out of New York City that's anti-gun? So if a anti-gun investment company owns a company or controls it then you don't want to spend any more money with them?

If indeed this is the case, then you will have to stop going to Lowe's, home Depot, Target, stop buying Coke or Pepsi, using UPS or FedEx, going to Walmart, are pretty much anything that you purchase including using Amazon. Pretty much anything you buy. At a store. Anywhere in America.

Oh, and you'll also have to stop watching any of the major media channels or any more movies.

Because they are all owned and controlled mostly by New York investment companies or families that are anti-gun.
