Liberty Safe -- Issue with Access Codes

I find this hard to believe. But I also find it hard to believe Biden is the president.
I no longer know any locksmiths. Just seems hard to fathom.

If you lift your inside door panel off, another combination is usually on the lock mechanism. You can buy a replacement off of Amazon or Ebay and change it yourself. Keypad is easy to change as well but the combination is stored in the lock mechanism.

Oh, I forgot. Vista Outdoors, the parent company that owns Federal, CCI, and Remington ammunition. Also, Olin manufacturing which is the parent company of Winchester are also majority controlled by investment companies out of New York City that are anti gun.

So, you'll have to stop buying all those products too.

That's not any different than the government wanting Elon Musk to shut down all the Tesla's in Russia when the war in the Ukraine started. He has the ability to do that via satellite but he didn't. In the electronics world nowadays, there are always backdoors in place. Just like Apple being able to unlock your iPhone.....That's why there is such a big push for digital currency, they can lock you out anytime they want to if you don't comply with their rules....

So let's get this straight. The problem is that Liberty Safes is owned by an investment company out of New York City that's anti-gun? So if a anti-gun investment company owns a company or controls it then you don't want to spend any more money with them?

If indeed this is the case, then you will have to stop going to Lowe's, home Depot, Target, stop buying Coke or Pepsi, using UPS or FedEx, going to Walmart, are pretty much anything that you purchase including using Amazon. Pretty much anything you buy. At a store. Anywhere in America.

Oh, and you'll also have to stop watching any of the major media channels or any more movies.

Because they are all owned and controlled mostly by New York investment companies or families that are anti-gun.
URBANRIFLEMAN is correct. Almost every large Corporation donates to both parties. They donate in order to maintain a relationship with both parties for whoever is in power at the time. It's part of the game.

Just keep in mind that I didn't mention anything about politics. I was merely speaking to ownership of companies.

You know it has occurred to me that this attack against Liberty safes would be a brilliant way for a predatory investment company to destroy that company so they could swoop in and buy it cheap. So, essentially this whole fomented outrage for this one particular case seems awfully disingenuous to me. Why all the sudden all the outrage about ownership by anti-gun people? This doesn't seem to be very even handed

Doesn’t mean you don’t support them when you can, what you say is absolutely true, you can’t eliminate or cut them completely out of your life but you can make a decision to not support them when you possible. We are absolutely living in a world controlled largely but left leaning corporations, makes you appreciate those who are still based in common sense and love of country.

I wondered about that too. Investment companies invest in whatever they feel can make them money and for the most part and don't really care what they invest in. Investment companies often provide cash to keep a business operating or to expand. As you said, investment companies are involved with many or most large corporations. Someone picked up a nugget of information and probably hasn't looked at the larger picture.

We can certainly not buy a Liberty Safe, but that really limits what is available. I have no doubts China can supply something though.

Understood. I should have specified a mechanical combination lock.
Another add on: Browning safe, purchase new by me in 1976, and much to my surprise actually made by Browning in Utah

While you may not like buying from a company owned by libs, Liberty can't lock you out of your digital safe. If you have them delete your Master Code, it would take a hacker or a safe cracker (both teen aged) to get in if you lost your code.
Now I'm wondering if my refrigerator or washer/dryer has a back door code.

For those of you with Alexa devices try this;
Call your land line, have the answering machine pick up, and say Alexa, unlock front door.
I don't have a digital door lock.
It works with Alexa, turn off light 1.
Life in the digital world.

Can’t quite follow what you are writing.
In a mechanical combination lock there is another lock?
