I will have to double check my production year on my taurus. I think/hope it is older. It's from 2006.
I think I put in a flat mainspring housing which I prefer.I have had this Series 70 1911 for a few years. Back when pistols were made of steel and more steel.
Post photos of your "Pride & Joy" here -- your favorite or best-looking rifles.

Sorry, couldn't resist the reference. Not quite the same, however; my high school and college prone rifle was a 40X in .22 LR, this one is 7.62 NATO. Bone stock at this point. Found it on consignment at my local store - the owner was losing his eyesight and consigned several guns, including this one.
Just joined and saying howdy. Added the Vortex 6.5x20 and have been trying out various loads on a friend's rest. For now it look like 175 gr bullets work best. At least that's what I'll start practicing with. Going to try to shoot prone again after 45-plus years.
Never saw a barrel shaped like that, stealthy. How's it shoot and who made it?Decided to get "copperhead fancy" with my 308 VTR.
